About us & editorial policy
أذكار إسلامية is published by KM Digital Labs (Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt). Its content is overseen by Khaled Hassanein, the developer of the Digital Tasbeeh app on Google Play. Our aim is a well-sourced, easy-to-read library of azkar and duas, free for everyone.
Where the text comes from
- Every dhikr and dua is copied word for word from a source that gave permission or has an open licence, and each item keeps its source link and retrieval date: Hisn al-Muslim (hisnmuslim.com, with permission), islambook.com (with permission), the Quran text of the Tanzil Project (tanzil.net) and established books of adhkar.
- No religious text is written by AI, and source text is only ever changed to correct it against that same source.
- Full sources and thanks are on the sources page.
References and gradings
- Each dhikr shows its reference (book and hadith number) and its grading as given by scholars wherever these are available; Quranic verses are identified by surah and ayah.
- References and gradings come from the sources or from open hadith datasets and are never made up.
- Some azkar do not have their detailed reference added yet. They show the name of the book they were copied from (for example Hisn al-Muslim or al-Nawawi's al-Adhkar) instead, and we are adding references step by step.
Translations
- We use official or permitted translations first (for example QuranEnc.com and the Hisn al-Muslim translations).
- Where no permitted translation exists, we may show a machine translation that was checked by a second tool and sample-audited. It is clearly labelled “Machine translation”. A translation of meaning is approximate; the Arabic text is the original.
Review and corrections
The editor reviews every item before it is published. If you find a mistake in a text, reference or translation, use the report button under the dhikr or write to info@islamicdhikr.com with the page link (see Contact us); we will check and correct it, and every change is kept in a history log.
Ads
The site may show a few labelled ads to cover its costs. They are never placed inside a dhikr or between azkar, and ads never influence which content is chosen. See the privacy policy.
